RE: [Transpo] Mid-Market summit re. transportation, December 10, 3 o 5 p.m.
Agenda is on the website -- I didn't put out an e-mail because I don't normally get response from them. There is a woman named Karen Fitzgerald who wants to come and talk about a suicide barrier on the GGB. I told her to come at 7 p.m. and expect 30 minutes. We can also talk about Nov. 29 and a future Mid-Market summit. Since it doesn't look like we will have much on the agenda tuesday (as far as I know) perhaps we could spend some time going over what we got out of saturday's meeting - or even didn't get out. Best, Jerry

Hello Everyone,
I think would should cancel the plans to have a summit on Mid-Market and transportation on December 10 that JMC, Jazzie and I were working on. There is transportation legislation headed for the BofS re. downtown that will supercede anything related to Mid-Market, and Christine Olague (on the Planning Commission) has suggested another approach that I'll work with her on.
We just aren't ready for a summit -- or to assume any kind of position of leadership re. Mid-Market and transportation yet. I've CCed Jazzie as she was going to be on the panel.
What do you think?
We are still doing the event at the Bazaar on November 29, starting at 7 p.m., but I'll be there earlier. Hope to see you there.
Sue
