Hi everyone,

1) I told John Rizzo that we decided not to revise the letter re. MLK Drive. He would like to come to oour next TWG meeting to explain why it's important that all the environmental groups speak with a unified voice re. MLK Drive. The Green Party, via the TWG, has already endorsed the resolution, though the resolution does rule out anyone one member organization opposing Option 10.

2) Josh Hart, of the SFBC, was disappointed that the TWG did not endorse the cantilever. I suggested that he come to the next TWG meeting also, but I have since wondered whether our plank is broad enough to encompass something like an expensive cantilever that may not significantly promote the plank.

3) Rick Ruvolo, of the Dept of the Environ, is out until Tuesday. I will be in touch with him to confirm that he is coming to the meeting on March 10 also (maybe we should stagger John, Josh and Rick so none of them are kept waiting, if you guys agree that John and Josh should come).

4) Leah Shahum, of the SFBC, is delighted to be invited to participate in our next End of Suburbia event. Mark Salomon, however, thinks we should invite a woman that is working on behalf of poor communities to come and speak about the impact of peak oil on those communities. Good point. Next time?
