* The SF Living Wage Special: Sunday, July 27, 4 p.m., $5
522 Valencia, 3rd Floor Auditorium 
This half-hour documentary follows the successful campaign that brought wage increases to more than 15,000 low-wage workers in San Francisco in 2007. * ACTION DAY AT CPUC: Thursday, July 31, 9 a.m.
California Public Utilities Commission Building, 505 Van Ness Ave. (at McAllister Street)
TURN (The Utility Reform Network) Call for action to protest At&T/Verizon's attempt to raise land-line phone rates in California. Attend the CPUC meeting to protest this attack on our communities! 

* Animal Advocacy Working Group Meeting: Thursday, Aug. 7, 7-9 p.m.

AWG is involved in activities to protect animals and influence City Hall legislation. 
Look for the table with the greeting card or picture showing three wolf pups.  At 7 p.m., arrive if you wish to order dinner. The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m.
