EVENTS (San Francisco, unless otherwise noted)

* Public Memorial for Peter Camejo: Sunday, Nov. 23, 2 p.m.
International House, University of California, Berkeley (2299 Piedmont Ave) 
The public is invited to celebrate the life and times of former gubernatorial, presidential and vice-presidential candidate Peter Camejo, who died Sept. 13 at his home in Folsom, after a lengthy fight with cancer. Fellow students of Camejo, who was expelled from USB for activities opposing the Vietnam War, will be on hand to commemorate his life as a student leader during that era. Other speakers include those Mr. Camejo worked with as a leader in the socially responsible investment industry, the Green Party's gubernatorial races in the 2002, 2003 and 2006, as Ralph Nader's vice-presidential candidate in 2004 (Nader will speak on their time together), and as a presidential candidate for the Socialist Workers Party. 

* SF Green Holiday Party: Wednesday, Dec. 17, 7-10 p.m. (No General Meeting in December)
SFGP Headquarters, 1028A Howard St (between 6th St. and 7th St.) 
Join us as we celebrate our many victories and close calls, with music, snacks and drinks. Please bring something to share, if you can.
