* Buy Nothing Day: Saturday, Nov. 29, 1­5 p.m. 
Dolores Park, 19th and Dolores Streets
Celebrate "International Buy Nothing Day at the Really Really Free Market!" ­ a "giant potluck" made up of ideas, food, music, books, skills, games and many other resources that are shared. Everything is free. www.reallyreallyfree.org 

* Animal Advocacy Working Group Meeting: Thursday, Dec. 1, 7-9 p.m.

Agenda topics: SF Biodiesel Plant To Turn Animals Into Fuel; Vegan/Organic School Lunches, Zoo Update. 
AWG is involved in activities to protect animals and influence City Hall legislation. Look for the table with a picture of three wolf pups.  Arrive at 7 p.m. if you wish to order dinner. Meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m.

* KPFA Local Board Unoffical Meeting: Thursday, Dec. 11, 7-9 p.m.
Humanist Hall, 390 27th St., Oakland
Join members of KPFA's board and station programmers at a holiday mixer to chat and mingle. Food, drinks and an update on the state of the nation's 1st community radio station.

* SF Green Holiday Party: Wednesday, Dec. 17, 7-10 p.m. (No General Meeting in December)
SFGP Headquarters, 1028A Howard St (between 6th St. and 7th St.)
