Dear Greens,
 
Here are some local SF Green Party meetings and non-Green events 
that everyone is welcome to attend:

1. Meet N. California state Green Party leaders this Saturday, Jan 19:
Potluck at Barry Hermanson's home, 2467 28th Ave, SF, 1/2 block S. of
Taraval and the L-Taraval street car line. The potluck will begin at 6
pm and go on into the evening.  Please bring something to share - food
or beverage.  Barry will make a large pot of pasta sauce and provide
dishes, glassware, napkins, and silverware.  Many of the members of
the GPCA Coordinating Committee who live in northern California will
be attending and participating in a CC conference call during the day
on Saturday.  Some of those attending: Sanda Everett, Victoria Ashley,
Michael Rubin, Maxine Daniel, Tim Laidman, Alex Shantz, June Brashares
and Barry Hermanson.  Several have indicated they will stay for the
potluck.  We hope you will come with questions for your state
Coordinating Committee representatives.

2. SF Green Party monthly meeting next Wednesday, January 23rd, from
7-9 pm at El Cafetazo, 3087 16th St between Valencia and Mission.
Short walk from 16th St BART station.  The agenda will include
finalizing our Supervisors' Report Card for 2012, approving a
statement on Justice for Alan Blueford, and planning events for 2013.

3. Sunset Community Garden Meeting Saturday February 2nd, 10 am. Gate is on
37th Av. @ at Pacheco between the 2 schools. This is not a Green Party event
but many of the gardeners are Green including garden Manager, Mike Murphy.
6 garden spaces currently available. Call Mike for more details: 415-823-9743. 

4. Lunar New Year event Sunday February 3rd, Noon. Asian Museum, 200 Larkin St.
on Civic Center Plaza. Free. Lion Dancers and more. Civic Center BART. For
more information 415-581-3500. www.asianart.org ( not a Green Party event,
but may be of interest to our members )
