ELIANA LOPEZ SPEAKS! This Saturday May 25th, 2-3:30 pm...the SFGP
Women's Forum is putting on a FUNDRAISER for SFGP! Come out to hear
Eliana give her relections on the incident with husband Ross
Mirkarimi, SF Sheriff that rocked the city. Erika McDonald will MC the
event. Q&A. Refreshments. Held on the main floor of the Womens'
Building in the Mission District, 3543 18th St. between Valencia &
Guerrero St.--a short 2 block walk from the 16th St. BART. $10-$20 at
the door. No one turned away for lack of funds.

SFGP has endorsed Bradley Manning as the Gay Pride Grand Marshall and
encourages Greens to march with the Bradley Manning Contingent. SFGP
will have a booth at this event June 29th & 30th. Join us!

Mark your calendars for next SFGP tabling events: Sunday Streets 6/9
in the Bayview and 7/7 at Great Highway & Golden Gate Park. (Let's put
on a tour of the Beach Chalet soccer fields.) The SF Green Party is
very sorry that the Beach Chalet soccer field development was passed
by the California Coastal Commission last Thursday.

1. Wednesday May 22nd 7-9 pm SF Green Party Member Meeting (every 4th
Wednesday) at El Cafetazo, 3087 16th St. near Valencia. Short walk
from 16th/Mission BART. Everyone welcome. Come see our newest SFGP
brochure.

2. Saturday, May 25th, 2-3:30 PM San Francisco Green Party Women's Caucus
presents: Eliana Speaks!
Hear from the International actress and activist, Eliana Lopez! She will
be interviewed by Green Party Spokeswoman Erika McDonald in one of her
first public appearances since husband and former Green Party member Ross
Mirkarimi was accused of official misconduct. Ms. Lopez will also take
questions from the public.
Women's Building ground floor auditorium

Suggested donation: $10 - 20; no one turned away for lack of funds.
This is a fundraiser for the San Francisco Green Party.

3. Saturday May 25th 11 am rally at Union Sq. (Powell St. BART); NOON
March Against Monsanto! down Powell to Market to the Plaza in front of
the Ferry Bldg.

4. Sunday June 9th Sunday Streets in the Bayview...3rd Av. closed for
several miles for bikers, walkers et al. Lots of booths and great food
near Oakdale St.. This is also the day for the Haight Ashbury Street
Festival so a decision needs to be made at the SFGP meeting this
Wednesday if we have enough people to table at both events. Sign up

5. Saturday/Sunday June 22nd & 23rd Green Party of California General
Assembly Napa Women's Club, 218 Franklin St., Napa. Registration $40
until 6/19; then $45 at the door--includes light breakfast and vegan

6. Saturday/Sunday June 29th & 30th -- Gay Pride: "Embrace, Encourage,
Empower". Join SFGP at our booth--help needed to set up Sat. am and
take down Sun. pm; location TBA. Contact cc at sfgreens.org to sign up
for a time slot. SFGP has endorsed Bradley Manning as Grand Marshall!
Sunday Pride Parade begins 10:30 am at Market & Beale and goes to
Market & 8th St.  Pride events include the best of local musical
talent & cultural performances in and around Civic Center. 24 stages!
