a “Maundy,” Mandate, to the Mayor and Board of Supervisors - raise the
wage rate in the Minimum Compensation Ordinance that would lift out of
poverty people who work on city service contracts, at the airport, as
IHSS homecare workers and in CalWORKs.

homeless so that they can transition off the streets. They mentor our
youth so that they can pursue a productive role in our community. They
provide counseling to families in need. They provide health care
services. They provide security at our airport. These workers provide
valuable services to the community

Join faith leaders and the faith-based community in a symbolic ceremony
of washing the feet of low-wage workers.
