Here’s my feedback on Flyer #1: (I can review the LGBTQI flyer sometime this week.) General comment: I’m not sure the bullets are the most visually appealing option. We might be better just having these points indented like they are now but without bullets. Text: Reinvesting [We can't “reinvest” a budget but we can “reinvest” funds.] our bloated military budget on domestic needs, stop drone bombing, and close most foreign military bases ["Re-prioritize our budget away from bloated military spending towards domestic needs; stop drone bombing, and close most foreign military bases"] Ending the failed War on Drugs; treat abuse as health issue ["Ending the failed War on Drugs; treat addiction as a health issue"] Ending warrantless spying on US residents [What does the law currently say? I’m not sure, but I believe only US citizens are supposed to be off-limits for domestic spying. Would stating this as “US residents” mean a change from the current practice (or law)?] Publicly financed, fair, and democratic elections, including ranked choice voting and proportional representation [I’d like to see something like "hand-counting all paper ballots in front of public observers” or other election integrity measures, but this might require group discussion/approval. However, “fair and democratic” does imply some election integrity measures.] Free public education at all levels; write off student debt A Universal Basic Income, and Living Wage jobs ["Universal Basic Income, Federal Job Guarantee, and Living Wage jobs"] Universal Basic Income and the Federal Job Guarantee are policies prescribed by Modern Monetary proponents. Is there a reason UBI is included here but the Job Guarantee isn’t?

I followed up by drafting the new 4x6" postcards I'd suggested earlier: http://sfgreens.org/new_flyers.pdf
Please give me any corrections or suggestions for improvement.
I will bring printed copies to this week's CC meeting so we can work on them some more there.
