With the new CC taking office this July, I'd like to propose several
bylaws changes that we talked about at the strategy meeting. The
current bylaws are on the website, so this is just the changes:
1) in section 3.7, clarify that the GM's consent to add new members
is a business decision (by putting the "business decision" in parentheses
after "with the consent of a General Meeting").
2) add a new section (moving all the others down)
3.8. Members of the San Francisco Green Party who hold elected office
in local, state, or federal government shall be regarded as ex officio
members of the County Council. Ex officio members may participate in
all CC decisions, but are not obligated to attend meetings or counted
when determining whether a quorum is present.
