Last week, the Fair Elections Now Act passed the House Committee on Administration. This was a big step forward, but we need to make sure it gets put to a vote on the floor of the House.
When asked whether the bill would be put to a vote, Speaker Pelosi said, "make me do it."

It's critical that we put pressure on the House this week to make sure there's a vote on the Fair Elections Now Act. Here are three things you can do to help:
1. Sign a letter urging Nancy Pelosi to put the Fair Elections Now Act to a vote. Rep. Charles Pingree has written a letter to Pelosi asking her to bring the Fair Elections Now Act to the floor. Our friends at Bold Progressives have started a petition to urge other members of Congress to sign the letter. Click here to ask your representative to add his or her name to the Pingree letter.
2. Ask your congressperson to support the Fair Elections Now Act. Click here to use our whip tool to see if your representatives support the bill. If not, we'll give you their phone numbers and some ways to ask for their support.
3. Tell a friend about Fix Congress First. This isn't the end of the fight. We need more help. Can you tell a friend about the work we're doing around fair elections? You can invite your friends to join our mailing list, or point them to our communities on Facebook and Twitter.
