Just experienced Phantom Power's sound check on the Funktion One speakers and it sounded tasty! Everything is ready to go. We have a tightly packed schedule, so WE WILL BE STARTING ON TIME, unlike what you're used to :) and trying our best to stay on pace. Grab your friends and come on down! Party people in the house! They said we couldn't do it with such short notice, they were worried we'd lose our shirts, they wanted to settle for a small get-together at a little pub, (oh wait, that was us talking!), but guess what?!!! We enlisted the services of 7 of the city's bumpinest DJs ready to throw down with the richest diversity of dance music the city has to offer; the up and coming band Phantom Power, that seriously blew me away at practice last week; a powerful, interactive performance artist, Ryan Hayes; and an enlightening political program to kick it all off at 7! We've got a $100 gourmet vegan ice cream cake on the way along with plenty of snacks to keep you happy... All we need now is your help spreading the word and coming prepared to drink (they even have decent non-alcoholic drinks at Public Works)! Please help us spread the word on this, we decided to go big at the last minute and need everyone's help to make it a big success (a week from Wednesday) especially in order to get enough people there to buy $1,000 worth of drinks that we have to pay otherwise... *Green Holiday Hoopla* *Wednesday, December 15, 7:00pm - 2:00am* Location: The Public Works SF, 161 Erie Street (off Mission bet.
